Complete Grooming Guide for Cabin Crew Aspirants
Grooming is not vanity in the aviation industry — it is a professional standard. Airlines judge your ability to represent their brand through how you present yourself. Here is our complete grooming guide.

**HAIR**
For females: Hair must be tied neatly in a bun or French twist. No loose strands. No heavy styling products. For males: Hair should be short, clean, and well-combed. No beard for most airlines (some allow a neatly trimmed one).

**FACE & MAKEUP (Females)**
Natural, professional makeup. Foundation matching your skin tone. Subtle eye makeup — no dramatic looks. Red or coral lipstick is preferred by most airlines. Eyebrows should be well-defined. Remove all piercings except small earrings.

**NAILS**
Short, clean, and filed. Neutral or red nail polish only. No nail art, long nails, or chipped polish.

**SKIN**
Hydrated, clear skin shows that you take care of yourself. Establish a proper skincare routine 3 months before interview season.

**ATTIRE FOR INTERVIEW**
Formal skirt suit or blazer with a pencil skirt (females). Formal shirt and trousers with a tie (males). Colours: Navy, black, white, or grey. Well-ironed, no wrinkles. Closed-toe heels (minimum 2 inches) for females.

**HEIGHT & POSTURE**
Stand straight, shoulders back, chin parallel to the floor. Good posture can add visual height and exudes confidence.

**FRAGRANCE**
Subtle perfume only. No overpowering scents — cabin crew work in close quarters with passengers who may be sensitive to strong fragrances.

At Flying Wings Academy, our grooming sessions are conducted by our directors who themselves served on Saudi Arabian Airlines and IndiGo — so you learn exactly what airlines expect.
